Back Country Log & Timber Homes, is located approximately 35 minutes from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, in the very heartland of the Canadian Prairies. Company owner and home builder, Jeff Esau, is dedicated to providing all clients with homes and buildings of enduring quality, through exacting workmanship, quality materials, courtesy, and integrity.

We realize we’re building people’s dream homes and features and it’s not a responsibility we take lightly. We welcome any and all questions to ensure clients are fully comfortable and have peace of mind in their building project.
We use a couple of professional preferred drafting firms in BC that help narrow the ideas down and work with the clients to set up the right floor plan and design. Once the preliminary drawings are complete we can then provide fairly accurate pricing so final decisions can be made before construction drawings begin.
Once the contract is signed, a deposit is given, and we start ordering material. We work closely with all contractors through the building process if they have any questions. When material arrives and we begin the building process, we welcome clients to come check it out in our yard to inform them of the way it’s done and the process it takes to make this happen.
